Selene always wanted to be a moon, but she was just a space station. She gets tired of looking at the real moons in her neighbourhood and wishes she could at least be stationed somewhere out of their sight. She has no idea how beautiful she really is.
All paintings come ‘ready to hang’ with black painted edges. These pieces do not have hangers so they can be arranged either vertically or horizontally as the buyer chooses. It is not recommended that encaustic paintings be placed behind glass, as the texture should be felt as well as seen. This art is safe to gently touch!
Each painting is a bespoke original, no prints are available. All paintings are sold unframed, painted on wooden encaustic board (2 cm depth) with black painted edges.
Please note that all packing and shipping material is repurposed to reduce waste, and while we avoid using styrofoam and plastic, we do not ever source new material of this type and only re-use non recyclable materials. Thank you for your understanding.
